PEEL wins Innovate UK funding
We’re proud to announce that our PEEL Programme has been
awarded a prestigious Creative Catalyst grant by Innovate UK. This significant milestone will enable us to launch PEEL in more locations and to keep the programme free at the point of use for disadvantaged young people.
PEEL is a transformative initiative that harnesses creative writing and photography to help individuals explore self-identity, unlock hidden talents, and build confidence. With support from Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), we’ll be empowering more individuals to unlock their creative potential – enhancing self-expression, strengthening identity, and improving mental wellbeing.
This grant is not just an endorsement of our mission – it’s an investment in the power of creativity to drive meaningful change. Through PEEL, we’ve already seen measurable improvements in mental wellbeing, and this funding allows us to take our impact even further.
The first course to benefit from this funding will be the PEEL that we are running over three days in Cheltenham during February half-term. For those 15-20 year olds looking for a creative outlet, there are still spaces remaining. For more information, and to sign up click here.
